COVID-19 is spread via human to human contact and from infected surfaces. but the new Coronavirus can be spread through respiratory droplets, is Coronavirus airborne? These droplets are emitted when we cough or sneeze. This is why it is important to avoid close contact with anyone who has a fever, a cough, or other symptoms of Coronavirus COVID-19.
As COVID-19 can be airborne, this means we should avoid any contact of fewer than two metres, or about six feet, between you and someone who is sick or suspect, may have the infection, including hugs, kisses, and handshakes. Never touch your face, even when wearing a face mask.
If you are caring for someone suspected of having COVID-19 or for someone who has it, encourage them to use tissues and make sure you are using correct protection and keeping your hands clean.
